Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. A Different Kind of Eve

Walk pics from earlier today
George liked the way the antennas lit up against the grey and darkening sky, so these are for him
I took two shots, one a little closer, trying to capture the blinking lights. I liked both.

People came to light candles for their loved ones.
I really liked seeing this tonight.
It moved me to see all the flickering lights.
I recalled going to the candlelight mass, everyone holding a candle, and singing.
Here it was quiet, the lights were lit, and the music was in my head.

Getting too dark, but, I liked them anyway.

Much later, I thought about friends, and music, and friendships old and new, found and lost.

People come and go from our lives,
from my life.
It saddens me,
both to lose them, and to think of what may have come.
The friendships that prevail do so because of effort
on both parts.
The one-sidedness just doesn't do it for me.
