Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Did You Miss Today's Sunrise?

Early this morning, I woke to a familiar friend.
It's brightness filled the room next door,
spilling against all the walls and doors,
colouring them in bright orange and pinks.

I went to the room and was greeted by this view.
Then I returned to mine, and grabbed my mobile to capture it as my cam was downstairs.
This photo doesn't even do it justice.
I should have taken one to the right,
where you could see more evidence of the colours over the lake.
That view will remain "For your eyes only," as Reñan used to say.
Later I noticed the nasturtium had come into in bloom.
Later still, the sunset.
Minutes later, it was gone.
