Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. How Awesome Are These Early Spring Days

So I drove home fast after work to catch a few rays of glorious sunshine on the deck for about an hour before volleyball.

As I sat and read my book for school with the late afternoon rays baking down on me, I noticed my lil friends the chickadees were about. One or two would land in the branches of the lilac, then fly down to the water dish on the corner shelf, chirp at me, then fly off toward the feeders. The seed in the one feeder seemed like it's getting a bit old ( as that particular feeder seems to let in a lot of moisture, causing the seeds to mould in the bottom of the feeder and the birds just ignore it and go to the neighbours feeder or checks the suet cake. I thought it might be fun to put out a little bit of seed by the water dish, and maybe in another spot and see if they'd feed where I could watch and maybe capture a few shots.

So I put some seed on the top of the corner post and along side the two sides of the corner shelf
and also scattered some on the one side of the grill as well as in a dish to entice them there.
It didn't take long for them to get curious and start in on the seed in both locations

Later as I drove out to volleyball, I couldn't help but capture a few sunset shots while driving. (shhhh - don't tell!)
Man I need to wash my windscreen!
