Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. El jueves En El Sol

3p and my thermometer reads 60f.

On the deck, 89.3 streaming live on the Mac, doin HW and baskin like the Lion I am, with a cold Sierra Nevada Pale ale. Black Capped Chicadees and some new red breasted birds are just feet away enjoying some seed I set out to entice them. Not a bad way to spend an afternoon doing homework.

This morning I slept in, then later loaded the car for errands, met my son for lunch, then returned two items and treated myself to a new fluffy mattress pad for 60% off plus another 20% off coupon for a 74.00 savings. Nice.

From there I headed to the recycling center to deposit the cans I collect on my walks around the neighbourhood, from various bus routes I take for a change of pace walk after a long day of sitting, and from my office. 25 bags @ .50 lb for $15.50. Not bad for a few weeks of collecting. I also needed to hit a place like that for my environmental science class to do an extra credit report (cha-ching 20 extra points!)
