Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. What A Day

As it was too gorgeous to stay inside for my lunch break, I took a walk down to Lake Place Park on the Duluth Waterfront. Lake Place Park is #28 on this map of the Downtown Duluth and Canal Park area. Click here for more information about the creation of Lake Place Park.
Nice to have this so close to work as to escape and rejuvinate as well as soak in some Vitamin D.
G'head, take ya shoes off, go barefoot, stick yer toes in the water...ahhhh, August.
Sure makes it hard to go back to the office.
Looking North - The Lakewalk, Lake Superior Scenic Railroad Tracks run along side and go up the North Shore to Two Harbors. You can kinda see the Mosaic Wall to the left. Near that grove of trees the Vietnam and Korean War Memorials are located.
East View - Beach Area - This is also where the polar plunge occurs in January
Refer to my Icehole Post.
Beach, Lakewalk, Ship Canal and Aerial Lift Bridge - Waterfront
I took several shots, and liked each for different reasons.
This one for more water.

This one more clouds. This one shows more of the Lakewalk
