Weird Chernobyl Moth

After picking my berries and doing some weeding I noticed this moth on one of the stepping stones. I had seen one just like it on a walk on Friday, but the pic I took of it with my mobile phone turned out too blurry. The bright white colour (almost like it was dipped in white-out or white shoe polish) is what caught my eye. It was just as deformed as this one. It's wings being two different sizes and almost like they were rolled together on the ends, making flight impossible. They were fast crawlers though, almost spider-like. Almost makes me wonder if I should call the U or somewhere and offer it as a sample to maybe find a cause for the deformity?
