Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. First Day Open

Another sure sign of Spring.
The day the Farmer's Market opens.

Ours here is quite small.
This morning it was rather sparsely filled with vendors as well.
That'll change, hopefully.

Seems like more people sell plants or arrangements,
and prepared food, (honey or salsa, jellies or pasties)
rather than any early produce.

Unlike in Minneapolis or St Paul, where there are many stalls,
and more produce, as well as the other items for sale.

Closer now, come inside...

A Typical Fall Saturday

The above pics were from my mobile today and some last fall.

The Sun, as promised.

I always thought home made Salsa was the best.... I like farmer's markets, IMO shopping as close to the ground is best. I'd rather buy from Farmer Joe than Wal-mort... Well I might wanna buy from Piggy wiggly more... LOL!

I'd be honoured to make you a flamin hot batch of my Sphincter Burner Salsa anytime.

I too, love shopping markets, always have. I just wish that ours was bigger, with more vendors.

PW...LOL
