Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Duluth Lake Walk, Leif Erikson Park, and the Rose Garden

Today George and I walked the Lake Walk from Perkins to Leif Erikson Park and back the upper route through the Rose Garden and along London Road.
Gorgeous day, beautiful flowers, sunshine, and great company!

On the lake...

Sign the City of Duluth put up to explain the absence of the Floaty Boat

Time to re-purpose this site - make a big deck or gazebo (ala Enger Tower)
add some picnic tables, benches, and voilá!
Perfect spot for picnics or weddings!

I really have to remember to wear my glasses when I want to take Panorama shots :P
Deal with the mis-match - you still get the view!

Spot the Hummingbird!
We couldn't believe our eyes as this one must've forgot to leave town with his/her pals!

Clematis: Not a rose, but beautiful all the same.
