Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Friday Night Guilty Pleasures

Finished my Stats Aplia homework and went for some Merlot. Returning I took out the Talmadge Farms Raspberry Jalapeno Pepper Jam and Sassy Nanny Lake Effect Goat Cheese I had previously picked up at the Farmer's Market, along with some Crispy Wheat crackers for a snack. Delish!

I had gone out for lunch earlier in the day to 7 West Taphouse with my Census Pals and was pretty full still to eat dinner. I'd had the Taphouse burger, which turned out to be a double burger with some kind of jalapeno cheese sauce between the patties and 'beer onions' (which seemed like plain old sliced sauteed onions to me), and some fries, and two beers: Ranger IPA and Hinterland Java Stout. I also sampled the 10% alcohol Lucky Bucket Certified Evil Belgian Strong (only served in a 10oz glass). It was very dark, and tasty, but I stuck with the Java as I had to go home and do more homework. Way too early to be catchin a buzz and wanting to nap the rest of the afternoon.

As it was, I started my Stats Aplia work at 4:20p and didn't finish til 8:50p. I think that's the shortest time ever - usually it goes 5-6 hrs, not including the quiz. (I'll take that later!) I hate how long it takes, but was glad to have it done long before the 11:45p due time. I'll be so glad when this semester is over. (We're half way done - Monday is the semester break - not like I'll have any homework time off this weekend or Monday though. Ugh.)
