The months go faster all the time, as do the years.
I got word today that my theatre classwork is all done except for double-checking my submitted hours for approval.
All of the discussion posts, photographs, and papers submitted have earned me the full 500 points, earning me another "A" grade, and a raise in my GPA overall, as well as my AA/MN Transfer Degree.
I just await final word that I am truly done.
Then I'll breathe easier and maybe even celebrate.
Next to decide in which direction my path will continue.
On another note, I met up with some of my ex-Census co-workers - whom I should just really call 'friends' and will going forward, for a walk and lunch today. We walked through the Skywalk as it was snowing out, and ended up at the DECC end, close to Canal Park. I got the idea that maybe we could head over to Amazing Grace Cafe to check out their soups and also to give Dan a break from the walk. Ha! It was a hit - and I lucked out - Sweet Potato Soup with Pecans - YUM!
On the way back we noticed cars coming off the freeway exit with damages being escorted to the parking lot (and right were Dan was parked) by State Patrol vehicles - we're guessing that the four vehicles involved hit an icy patch and had a crash - too bad.
After returning home I decided to dig into the movies I have to watch - and the first one, Charly was absolutely wrecked - the DVD had a big chip out of it, was very scratched, and dirty. I tried my best to clean it up, but the movie kept freezing up and "skipping over the damaged areas."
Then, I had a bit of a nap.
Later I fired up Social Network - which was interesting and made me even more glad I've not caved into the Facebook following.
At bedtime I started The Expendables - but a few minutes into the movie, Kev showed up for a very late (for him mainly) visit - which was so much better than a movie. Good fun, and a nice end to January, as well as a start off of February - bringing full circle our year as friends - well, technically not until the 2nd. But the first day I sent him a message was 1-Feb-10, he replied on 2-Feb-10 and we just clicked as friends. The rest, as they say, is history.
Chatting with him is always interesting to say the least. I was glad for the chat as he'd not cum in mah box since last Thurs night, and I missed his company again over the weekend. I sent off his pkg this afternoon too - hopefully it will arrive within a day or two as promised. It's funny how when I think about him the most, he shows up. He's given me more book assignments as well as left me with some Radiohead. A nice end to my night. Thanksya!
