Been raining all day, sump pump is going off. I went out and shoveled off the front shrubs to help take the weight off them, and also knocked down heaps of deadly icicles off my roof - the ones I could reach from the various upstairs windows. Spread some ice melt, and then little by little tackled the deck tonight. My arm gets pretty sore, so I'd toss about 20 shovelfuls, then head back inside a bit. Later I just slid it by shovelful off the steps that lead to the backyard. Also, I'd get soaked if out there much longer. I noticed some snowmen today when out running errands, and didn't have my camera. As I was finishing the deck, I thought, why not make one here - to cheer up the view some for even just a little bit. Funny how snowmen can do that. I don't believe it will last long with all the rain, so here it is captured for posterity. It's only been an hour and it's already leaning backwards a bit, I'm sure it'll be toast in no time. Ha! 5 minutes later and it's just fallen. Ah well. :-)
