Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Pancakes & A Sunday Sunset

Woke early, and completely forgot it was Pancake Sunday!
Carey called me a little after 11a and reminded me to get my butt down there before it ended.
Thanks Mate!
I had a good plateful and ended up sitting with who I thought was a lone stranger at a table that still had a place setting ready at that late hour.
Turns out he was a guy I had dated once from an online dating site a few years back.
We had a quick catch-up, then were on our respective ways.
At least I had some brekky company - which was nice.
Before I left I went to have a little chat with Carey, and his missus, and he hooked me up with a huge to-go box of extra pancakes and sausage.

Took a run downtown to work for a bit as some thank-you notes had piled up.
Later noticing it was time for my friend's bus to come by,
I ran down to meet him and gave him the pancakes for a treat,
and few choccys too, for his afternoon ride.
Should make for an easy dinner for him.

Then George called for our walk before dark.
It was good, he gave me a LOT of insight into men and their behaviours,
especially men who have been or are addicts.
It was very helpful and made many things make more sense in regards to some recent conversations both on and offline.

Driving back from my walk with George I noticed the sky was a spectacular bright pink.
I drove as safely, yet quickly as I could to Skyline Parkway to try to capture it.
I hate that it's now dark at 5p

Ah well, I can try again tomorrow.

Cheers!
¡Abrazos to all in need!
