It was a gorgeous day for it, and Friday night was good too.
I only was there from 12-2 or so, I watched a few races, and checked out the various tents belonging to the teams and vendors. There was a pretty good sized food court and also a couple of beer tents. Parking and the event was free. And after checking out the website this evening, it turns out there was some pretty good music & entertainment as well that I missed. Ah well, next year. I really only saw two people there I knew. I knew of two others, but never saw them at all. It really seemed to be an event for people and families who were all part of the event or touched by breast cancer. I had considered volunteering in the past, but never have. It might mean more or be more fun if I somehow got on a team or volunteered. Again, maybe next year.
