Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. 1/2 Way & Renee

Fark, July half over already.

Renee came from Kansas City to check out our office inventory. I had the day off so she and I got together in the afternoon for a visit.

After having a drink in the bar, we ventured out on the Lakewalk for a walk and to check out the sights. We walked from her hotel near Fitger's to the Aerial Lift Bridge, then to the back of the DECC where we caught the Port Town Trolley for a tour of town. Then after a quick rest, we headed over to the Anchor Bar for a bite to eat. It was crowded, but eventually we got in and had some very tasty burgers and a couple of beers.

The Air Force Thunderbirds were also staying at her hotel for the Air Show this weekend.

Later, I dropped her back off for the evening. It was nice to finally meet the person I had dealt with for so long over the phone.
