Sheesh.
Where does the time go?
Summer always goes by way too fast.
(Hence me needing to move somewhere it's summer-like all year round!)
The day started out so nice - sunny and warm.
I hit up the Farmer's Market for some goodies and ended up with some new herbs, flowers and a Lemon Verbena!
I love the lemony plants; verbena, lemon grass, and basil.
Lemon = Sunshine, or maybe what sunshine smells like!
Too soon, it was time to head in to work.
If I could afford it, I'd take whole days off as it is very slow now.
As it is, I make up for it by picking a day (usually on Sat or Sun, but sometimes Tues) and leave an hour or so early if the weather is nice. Mental Health hours I call them.
Tonight, I was disappointed that the weather turned rainy.
I was so looking forward to some yard time before dark.
I had a little, while it was still sprinkling, until it became more of a rain.
Ah well, back inside to make a bite to eat (chips and cheese with frijoles negros, jalapenos, and salsa = yum) and watch Best in Show - check email and just veg some.
Cheers!
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S.
