The instructor still hasn't graded our event journals, book reports or book report response discussion board postings. I am pretty confident I'll receive full points for all of those, hopefully resulting in an A.
I took my last Human Geography test on Monday, and ended up nearly bombing that even with only four wrong, but overall I had earned 620 out of 675 possible points, and her curve was 610 for an A. So I sewed that one up.
I also have to wait on the results of my PE course - Boundary Waters Experience. He has to review our required journals, then will be posting our grade. I am hopeful for an A, but I've heard that depending on the journals, it could be iffy.
**Edit 13-5-10** I've just checked my gradebook and have received an A for the Boundary Waters Course. YAY! - So far 3/4 courses = A. One more to go! *crosses fingers*
Regardless, I had a good semester, as the courses I completed were very interesting and really three of them coincided, and the writing one was good too, even though I found it hard to 'write' because I 'had' to, not because I wanted to. I'll have part deux this fall, so more writing is ahead, but I have the same instructor so I am pretty well aware of his requirements and how he runs his course, so it should go ok.
I really enjoyed the way the enviro and geo courses went hand in hand throughout the semester. It really made studying, projects and tests much easier as they both overlapped so much and I was able to use some of the same assignments for both courses. I really feel as if I want to pursue some sort of environmental/geography degree - but not sure what. I also found that much of the information I learned about global warming/ecosystems/environment/recycling all went hand-in-hand on my BWCA trip as well. I feel I had a pretty green semester.
I can only hope the courses I have this fall will be half as good as these.
Anyway, pulled a 230-11p shift tonight and have to be back to work by 8a tomorrow - I am outta here...
Buenas Noches Mi Amigos
