
After taking over 31 moon shots today alone, I finally was able to capture a shot with the craters and darkening/shadowed upper right edge of the moon showing vs just a shot of a big bright round moon. You could clearly see those features with the naked eye, yet I was having the most trouble trying to get the camera to focus clearly enough and have the settings just right to capture it in this way. Now if I only knew what I did. Ah well.

I took several other pretty good shots, but am kinda mooned out for now. Perhaps I'll post them later on or in a separate blog. I was thinking of making an astronomical blog or perhaps one for that as well as scenic photos, not just the everyday stuff.
In the meantime, I made and partially devoured a pretty tasty veggie pizza.
