Topping Off

Today the construction workers working on the new additions to the DECC topped off the roof complete with the traditional tree as we watched from our office windows across the Hwy 35.

The some people at work had asked what it meant and I knew it had to do with finishing the roof or highest point but a Google search revealed several reasons for the topping off. This link about Topping Off seemed to have everything the other search results revealed all wrapped up into once nice article and more fully explained.
