Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. It's Been...One Week

Since my visit to Enger Park and as Sunday was such a gorgeous, warm, sunny day, I reckoned that a revisit was in store to try to capture some better pics perhaps in the sun vs overcast skies and to record the changes in the foliage in a week's time.
Mind you all the photos on this blog since 6-Sept-09 when my Nikon camera died
have been taken with my 2.5 yr old Nokia 6133 mobile phone. Not bad eh.

The trail to the tower - the view going up vs coming down in last week's pic.
Again, a panorama of sorts, starting with the golf course, hillside and antenna farm.
Antenna farm, city-shoreline and the park below the tower.
Shoreline-City of Duluth, to lake, Aerial Lift Bridge, more park
below as well as the start of Park Point beyond the bridge.
The Aerial Lift Bridge, Park Point aka Minnesota Point, some of the shipping to the lower right.
The bay/shipping bottom right. Three ships outside waiting on the lake to be ok'd to enter port.Minnesota Point, Port of Duluth, shipping businesses, railroad yard,
looking toward Superior, Wisconsin, then the start of the St Louis River.
Top: The St Louis River, and West Duluth, below more of Enger Park.
The St Louis River and West Duluth looking toward Spirit Valley
Looking more south-west to the western hillside.
More of the hillside and it's colours.

The Ohara Peace Bell
A more skyward view from the Gazebo area as the clouds were so beautiful.
Wispy to the right and toward the left more like something building.
The left view of the brew.
Taken from the rocks below the gazebo - more of the City of Duluth and shore.
Looking back more hillside again coming full circle from the start.
A view of the Enger Tower from the gazebo.
The rocks below the gazebo where I sat for a time just taking in the views and warm sunshine.
More cloud views above it all looking toward Superior, Wisconsin.
A view of the gazebo - a very popular attaction this day with many people taking photos of family and friends inside it with the awesome background. It was a perfect day for photos.

When I returned home I decided it was time to trim my evergreens and hedge.
Looks much neater even if it isn't symetrical.
The tree seems to be more reddish too, with only a few leaves dropped so far.
