Fookin finally!
Another gorgeous weekend without rain (even though we need it) and then more golden days to come.
Today reached 80f/27c, not bad at all for mid-Sept. I remember it snowing on 15 Sept 06, and winter seemingly starting in the third week of Aug 07 and continuing on through the end of May 08. Much as it did Fall 08 to June 09. A lot of people at work were whinging about the heat. Heat? What heat? I'll take this over the nearly 9 mo of winter we have other years. My only regret is having to work today. I was, however, able to take an hour lunch outside in the sun to read and sunbake some. (poor downtown drivers who hadda witness that spectacle) I really need to move south.
To celebrate I made salsa for dinner and am spending another glorious evening on the deck. The birds are goin so mental here with their singing and chasing about I feel as if I'm in some Disney movie.Cheers!
