Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. My Bermuda Triangle

This post was meant to be for April 30, 2009.

A last of the month reflection sort of post,
before I start in on a new month.
Only thing is, I couldn't get my mobile phone to send the photos
that I had wanted to use in the post all day.
Time for a new mobile, for many reasons.
I took them about 2:40pm from a skywalk across the street,
and it literally took hours to get them to send successfully.
To explain:
The Triangle represents my past few weeks,
heck, months even,
as well as the next several.
Til the end of July anyway.
Stay tuned...

Bottom right: The Bus Transit Station.
Left: My part-time office building.
Top: My full-time office building.
(We're really on the 3rd floor as the higher floors are apartments.)
Same building though.
Same floor numbers for both as well.
Go figure.

Incidentally, that clock isn't off by five hours; it's completely dead.
Seems the City of Duluth can only maintain one of the two downtown clocks.
That one has been stopped for years.
Cut backs and all that shite.

Day, after day...
I will walk, and I will play.
But the day, after today,
I will stop.
And start my way.

You know the rest of the lyrics.

heh.

That's pretty cool...I wish I could be so imaginative.

I like the architecture of the neighborhood, even though the buildings look beat. Sometimes I even think I'd like to live there.

Why does the North have to be so cold?
