Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Doya or Dontcha?

Some days I don't make my bed.
When I get out if it looks comfy,
I just leave it be to entice me later on.
Later on could mean for a nanna nap,
or perhaps when I get home from work.
Although it's rare I'd go straight to bed after work, it has happened.

Sometimes I've thrashed about a fair bit in my sleep and it HAS to be put back together. Others it looks as if I hadn’t really moved all night.

Today was one of those days where it could have passed as you can see, but for contrast of this entry's photos, I made it.

Some would probably argue that it looks more inviting to see a bed fully made. I have to admit, it can. But seeing my soft flannel sheets, and fave pillows works for me just as well.

Then I think, "What if someone stops by?"
I should probably make it.
Again, the reality of that happening unless it's a weekend, is highly unlikely. Usually the only people who'd come over, are my kids, or their SO's.

I'd like to think that if someone did stop by and the bed was unmade, it'd be no big deal, as most of my house has that 'lived in' look. Meaning it's not Felix Unger or Martha Stewart perfect, but not Oscar Madison nor Oscar the Grouch messy either.

Maybe they'd wanna jump right in too? :P

Since my room is green, I thought I'd keep with the theme for the Sun o' de Day.
