Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Last Day of January 2012

Yay! One month closer to spring!

I went to school early, then went to work til 5, afterward home and my boss stopped by to collect some paperwork, then back to homework.

Benny came back too!
Hadn't had a chat with him since Sept 2010 - was so nice to catch up again.
I miss him and all my Aussie mates.
Can't wait to go back!

Anyway, here's a pic from yesterday of my pal the Crow. S/He comes around more and closer, often landing on the deck rail as I've put treats there recently instead of walking way out across the yard (when it was icy). S/He was closer to the window, but as soon as I moved from the window to grab the camera, he moved down the fence to the compost pile. I had dumped the house scraps there earlier, not having any real 'treats' (read: meat scraps) and s/he was contemplating whether or not there'd be anything good in the mix. There was: egg shells! They love to clean them out, so I've stopped rinsing them out before tossing them in the pile.

The Sentinal
Waits for treats.
