Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. A Gorgeous Saturday

Got some homework done then went on an hour walk  - the usual route - so it'd be easy on the knee.
So nice and warm, heaps of snow melted (not that we had much, but more of the stuff in the shade went due to the warmer temps).  I just had to get out for a bit before the sun set to enjoy it before tackling more homework.

435p - Sun sinking low.

Moon had already risen.

The sentinel shows up to see where I'm going

The view from 18th Ave E and 8th St
He follows me around the corner.
And a coupla more houses down, but that's as far as he'll go.
Territory ya know.

On the way back, the moon is higher and the sky is showing the pinks of sunset.

The sun is down on this side of the hill, giving the orange glow

As I walk up 19th, I notice something black up ahead - I thought it was a piece of clothing someone dropped until I got closer and noticed it was a crow :(  I hope not one of my three!
View from 19th and 9th (the black spot down the sidewalk is the dead crow)
Such a gorgeous evening and lovely view.

This afternoon's booty. A full bag of cans.
I also found a perfectly good red bungee cord, so I tossed that into my trunk for future use.
There was a lot of other garbage too, mainly cig boxes, plastic bottles and paper cups/lids from fast food joints. People really are pigs littering the way they do. If I picked all that up too, I'd have another 3-4 bags of trash. Maybe another day. The people who live along that route should really police theirs.
