Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. The Ides of March

All I can say is thank fuck it's half done.

I'm over it.

I'm glad the time's changed and the days are lighter longer, that the melt is going on, and spring will be here in less than a week.

/that is all.

Here are some pics from the drive up to Two Harbors this morning of the Lake Ice and Fishermen at Lester River

I was glad to have asked Neill to stop, as on the way home the wind had switched and all the ice had blown away. I'm still kickin myself for not jumping into a window seat on the way back from Florida and photographing the ice from the plane. I could see it, but was on the aisle, and cursed my lack of forethought. Ah well.

Here are a couple of shots from up in Essentia's (formerly SMDC) clinic picture windows from my visit to orthopedics on Monday showing the ice in the harbor.
As always, click to enlarge.
