Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Back in the Groove and Feelin Good

After arriving back home Friday night, and some online dramas Sat & Sun, I am starting all fresh - gotta bet back into life here and forget the BS. Gotta set my plans and start moving forward again. Look into school and work maybe too.

Started with checking my blogs and sites and remembered this I had saved for when I got back home from PDD.

I totally love this!
Local Musician Tony Bennett's Seed Math project. - info here and download the album here You can dld the album all in one, or song by song - good stuff Maynard. ;-)

Pretty ambient/easy listening/good beats really overall - I love the Matthew Lesko Polka - for the novelty, and Question and Answer Book - for being trippy and Zappa-like, and Acoustic Midget Blues - well...for capturing the true essence of Midget Blues and cuz it rocks and made the SUN come out!

Had a couple of email leads on jobs - gonna sort them and hopefully get the one - it'd be so up my alley, and allow me to get the fuck out of here. It's also part-time 25-30 hrs so that would allow for school as well. I so hope I get it! Crosses Fingers.

Hit up work for a bit - mailings going out.
Had an awesome lunch from the Greenery of Sweet Potato Soup and a Pastrami and Provolone Wrap. YUM. The soup was the best - I even bought an extra bowl for tomorrow's lunch up north.

Met with my mate Terry from Boku, helped him sort his new laptop, and stuff for the band. Getting excited for Homegrown!

We then ran some errands and I dropped him off, then met George and Gus for a WALK!
It'd been nearly two weeks, with the trip and all. It felt good to be back walking, and we walked for an hour - it was so nice out, and many of the cemetery roads were melted, so I felt so much more sturdy in my steps vs. all the ice and goat paths there were before the melt.

1st Grill Day 2011
Grilled Red Snapper
Grilled Asparagus
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Spinach with Honey Mustard Dressing
Strawberries & Blueberries
Vino!
Delicious!

Then later for lunches some Brats & Hot Italian Sausage
YUM!
Too bad you couldn't join me.
Perhaps next time.

Had some nice chats with some old and new online mates - good friends. Lots of fun!
I missed them and their love! Paul especially - cheeky buggar, and D. aka Boris too. :P Great guys. They saved me some on my trip too. I was glad to have them there for me. It meant heaps. Funny how it's always the guys who are the farthest away, that show the most care and concern, and love. Hugs!

Silly Moose and Squirrel!
