Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Thank You For Your Smiles, Hugs and Love

On Valentine's Day I read and hear so many people who aren't in a relationship lamenting that fact, or how lame that Valentine's Day is overall, being a commercial holiday seemingly set up to force people to show their love.

Yes, we should all show our love every day to those who are important to us, be it in a loving or friendly relationship. We have these people around us for a reason, because we love them and this should appear obvious by our actions with them in everyday life, not just once a year.

Yet, over and over again, I read the jaded writings and hear the laments of those who are single who abhor the day.

People need to realise that Valentine's Day isn't just for lovers, but for all the loves of your life. Your family, friends, children, and others who are close to you for whatever reason and give you great joy.

Some just by sharing a simple smile, a warm meaningful hug, or their love.
I many not have one partner to love, but I have many loves, and I feel very blessed.

Carries On

One love, One love
Carries on
One Touch, one touch
Carries on
One look, one look
Carries on

One Smile
When can you give me, when can you give me
Touch me
Can you give me, oh can you give me
Love me
Come and give me, oh can you give me some
Of the gift that carries on

One word, one word
Carries on
One smile, one smile
Carries on
One love, one love
Carries on

Although, SOME of you make me feel like this - when ever we chat or hang out.
Like I'm Home.
Isn't it great when special people can make you feel this way?
I may not be in a relationship per se, but all my relationships mean a lot to me and all of you fill my life with such greatness.
Thank you.

Home

Alabama, Arkansas, I do love my Ma & Pa
Not the way that I do love you

Holy roly, me, oh my, you’re the apple of my eye
Girl, I’ve never loved one like you

Man, oh man, you’re my best friend, I scream it to the nothingness
There ain’t nothin’ that I need

Well, hot & heavy, pumpkin pie, chocolate candy, Jesus Christ
There ain’t nothin’ please me more than you

Ahh, Home
Let me come Home
Home is wherever I’m with you
(2x)
La la la la, take me Home
Baby, I’m coming Home

I’ll follow you into the park, through the jungle, through the dark
Girl, I’ve never loved one like you

Moats & boats & waterfalls, alley ways & pay phone calls
I’ve been everywhere with you

That’s true

We laugh until we think we’ll die, barefoot on a summer night
Nothin’ new is sweeter than with you

And in the sticks we’re running free like it’s only you and me
Geez, you’re something to see.

“Jade?”
“Alexander?”
“Do you remember that day you fell out of my window?”
“I sure do, you came jumping out after me.”
“Well, you fell on the concrete and nearly broke your ass and you were bleeding all over the place and I rushed you off to the hospital. Do you remember that?”
“Yes, I do.”
“Well, there’s something I never told you about that night.”
“What didn’t you tell me?”
“While you were sitting in the backseat smoking a cigarette you thought was going to be your last, I was falling deep, deeply in love with you and I never told you ‘til just now.”
“Now I know.”

Ahh, Home
Let me come Home
Home is whenever I’m with you
Ahh, Home
Let me come Home
Home is when I’m alone with you

Home
Let me come Home
Home is wherever I’m with you

Ahh, Home
Yes, I am Home
Home is when I’m alone with you.

Alabama, Arkansas, I do love my Ma & Pa
Moats & boats & waterfalls & pay phone calls

Ahh, Home
Let me come Home
Home is wherever I’m with you
Ahh, Home
Let me come Home
Home is when I’m alone with you

I love you.
Thank you.
Hugs!
