Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Super Sunday

Not a football fan, nor a Super Bowl fan, but it does make for a good excuse to make a crock of hot chicken chili, some bestestest ever corn bread, and down a few beers.
So Delish!
Be Jealous!

I might tune in for some commericals as I read.
Too bad the smart sound can't be used in reverse, to silence the game, then bring up the commercials. Then again, they'll all be on youtube, if they aren't already.

Hot Chicken Chili with Queso Cheese and Corn Bread

Earlier, I sent the boy home with the pretzels, brownies, and some groceries. He also took the pancakes and sausages that Carey brought by after the breakfast was over. Pretty nice of him to deliver a to-go box to me/us. We had opted out of attending, preferring to sleep in some, due to our late Saturday night schedules, and, well, breakfast came to us. Thanks man! You're the bestestest!

After Sam left for Mpls, I pulled all my plants into the kitchen to dead-head them and to give them all a big soaking drink.

Right now my house smells like a mix of garden, fresh baked bread and chili.

Add all that to a visit and hugs from my son,
a free delivered pancake and sausage brekky

A pretty Super Sunday it was for me.

Hope yours was too!
Cheers!
