After a lazy morning sleeping in (and waking to an unexpected update message from Kev - and later this evening a very nice convo w/him), watching movies, and Sunday bacon - mmm, it was time to get a little something done.
I decided I'd best run downtown to finish the last of the ship's fundraising letters.
Turns out my mate has my route on Sundays.
What a nice surprise to see him again!
(A day of little surprises - as while I was at work, I came back from a restroom trip and the tall son of one of the advisors literally scared the hell out of me when I came round the corner in the office.)
It was so nice to visit with Renán again, and have a few laughs (one at the expense of some idiotic boy who ran out into the street just as the bus pulled up, nearly splatting him. Fools.), and just catch up. I'd missed him.
I swear, it either is a full on man-drought, or a torrential rain for me, nearly cyclical even.
All the different men in my life, they come and go, and when they're gone, I miss them terribly. Then it's like they all cum 'round sniffing - like dogs in heat, or maybe I give off some scent they hone in on. Whatever it is, I am glad for when it happens, as I love their attentions, and hate to ever admit to being 'dry'. *wink*
I love you guys, all of you, for different reasons.
Exercise:
Shoveled off the deck. (it was deep!)
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S.
