Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Mundane Monday

Today was spent recovering.
Homework and wine hit me hard.
Oops on the wine, but it tasted sooo good.
I love wine on Sunday nights, but started a little early,
then had a little more than I should.
I didn't feel sick or hung over, but just, laggy.

I had to write a paper yesterday before 11p and finished around 10:30p, then I needed to make a post for another class before 9am, and started the reading, only to fall asleep around 12?1?2?am. I'm not exactly sure.
I woke around 445am and finished the reading, then made my post, finishing by about 5:15a, then I went back to sleep for a short time(830a), and then I was back at it. I had to write another paper due tomorrow morning, that I had thought I had another week to write.

This week is a heavy homework and study week due to another major paper due on Saturday, along with a Science exam due by Sunday, not to mention the regular assignments of the week, as well as the extra activities (Dad's and my kids' birthdays *sat* and wanting to travel down to celebrate - which I doubt is going to happen now with all the stuff due), and regularly scheduled things like work, volleyball, and my daily walks.

Oi vey.

Anyway, I finally took in all my cans today gaining a whopping $10.50 for 21lbs, but at least they are out of the garage and now I can see my snowblower again.

Afterwards, I met George and Gus for a long overdue walk. We hadn't walked since Thursday as I had plans on Friday and walked a lot that day on my own (to downtown from home and then all around Canal Park with friends from the Census, before hitting happy hour.) Then Sat's snowstorm had us all socked in pretty much, and well Sunday spent doing what I wrote about yesterday: homework and shoveling.

The cemetery was very picturesque, so I snapped a few photos with my digital, then when the battery died, I switched to my mobile phone. I fear that the scenes I wanted to capture with the snow on the trees reflected on the ponds came out too grey-ish and that tomorrow if I return, the snow will have come off the branches taking away the chance of that reflective scenic photography I was so hoping to capture. Mitten Tree
I found the mitten last week and hung it from the branch hoping it'd be claimed.

A Bit of Blue in All the Grey
One of the Ponds
Looks almost good enough to ice skate on
(but it only has a very thin coating of ice/slush)
Another Pond
I tried to capture the reflection in this one, but failed somewhat.
I'll have to try to go back tomorrow,
as the third pond had open water and made for a better shot,
but I was unable to get close enough with the car to photograph it properly.
