The compII instructor doesn't seem to understand we were to have a long school break weekend and he piled on the work, but gave us two less discussion posts. Wow. So nice. I cannot wait to write the survey for his course. Actually, soon, I think I am gonna write the Dean. Several of my classmates and myself have made known to him several issues on numerous occasions and he continues on and even has the gall to become all condescending in his replies to our posts.
*eyedarts*
His 3 credit class alone took over 16 hrs this past week - he claims it's configured to only take 9.
There is no way, as at even 16 hrs, I was cutting corners to fulfill his requirements, and I am no slack student. It's a good thing I don't have a job right now or I'd be toast.
So after his crap, and studying for and taking a Biology exam all weekend, I took today off.
I just slept in some, vegged in bed til nearly 1p, chatting, reading and mucking about with online fun stuff, and putzing around the house.
I did look at some of my coursework for my other two courses later in the day, so I wasn't all bad.
I also took a ride to the library to return a movie.
On the way I ran into my mate Terry from Boku walking along in the blustery misty weather, so I pulled over and offered him a ride. He was coming from the dentist and had already walked 12 blocks. I dropped my movie at the library then brought him to the convenience store, liquor store and home. I got a really nice hug. It was nice to see him and catch up a bit as well.
Afterward I hit the dollar store for some new cheater glasses as my last two (not really even old yet) pairs broke in the last 2-3 days. Grr. I did end up finding 2 more pairs to get me by, thankfully.
When I got home I went to town on making some Chile Verde con Cerdo. I've had the ingredients since Saturday, but no time until today. I was going to make a full-on roasted pork and roasted peppers/onions/tomatillos etc version, but George called for a walk and it got too late to go that route, so I winged it with a quickie crock pot version.
Not too bad if I say so myself.
I will say it myself as no one is here to eat it with me.
Even if they were, I put in heaps of hot peppers as they were all over my counter,
and because I figured "I" wanted it hot and spicy.
GO ME!
Man O' Man it turned out DELISH!
Yeah, a couple of the peppers were orange,
but only as they turned from sitting on my counter for a couple of weeks.
THEY WERE GREEN!
I SWEAR!
