Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Sept 29

15 yrs since the big D.
Time flies.
Stel's birthday.
(Well yesterday for him in Aussieland.)

Drove past this very fiery example of a burning bush in full burn.
It was red hot.
More cemetery photos capturing the colours.
Soon they'll all be gone, so bear with me.
This one looks kinda washed out, but golden, and serene.
The panorama was spectacular - I could only hope to adequately capture it.
Truer colour.
Nothin fancy, but I like it. I used the trees on the right to block the sun.
In every part we walk, there are so many exceptional views,
it's hard to choose which to not photograph.
Yesterday's showcase tree, from the other side.
We were up on the hill above for the shot yesterday;
today down on the path below when I noticed it again,
as up close you could really see the colour variances
from green at the bottom, to golds, to burnt orange at the top.
I just love the shades of blue in the sky as well.
Click it.
Up on the hill, looking out over the hills far away through the trees.
The sun was shining on the trees on the far hill,
but as I tried to capture that, the sun hid behind a cloud
and they did not appear as spectacular as I had hoped.

Also, the camera kept focusing on the nearby trees/leaves instead of far away.
I'll have to figure out how to avoid that.
From the top of the backside hill.
I zoomed it to focus over across the lake on Wisconsin,
avoiding any cemetery monuments in the foreground.
Once again, the sun which had previously lit the far off hills
hid behind a cloud, dulling them.
That is all.

(I did, however, capture some sunrise shots off webcams this morning,
and I will edit those into a collage or something at a later time, when I have more time.)
