Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Oh Deer!

Went for a noon-ish walk before the predicted rain (which never came) with my mate George, and as we arrived at the cemetery, this doe and her fawns were having a lunch of acorns too. This first shot I took through my closed window as they were literally like 8 ft from my car, and I didn't want to scare them off by opening the window before I captured at least one shot. The rest are through the open window. We sat for about 15 min watching them before they started to move away, and through the headstones as you can see. The younguns were curious and kept watching us. George's springer Gus was going mad with want to chase them.
Momma watching me.
Curious kid.
Why do I feel like, somebody's watching me?
Yum!
I'm movin, you ate all the acorns here!
Yeah, whatever.
I just wanna watch those people for a minute.
They look o.k. to me. (this one kept 'wagging' it's tail - or it looked like it was)
It's sbiling wasn't so sure.
The sib kept a close eye on us, and the friendly one hid behind the stone.
Momma and the kids took off tails up - time to move on.
A cool lookin mushroom and the dark blob that looks like a cow poo to the right is an old mushroom too.

This afternoon, I grilled, and then made white chicken chili and salsa (regular and black bean) Yum!
