Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Nice Day for a Walk

Woodpeckers on the walk - the other day it was blue jays, but they'd fly off to fast to shoot pics.
Hard to see unless you zoom way in, but there are two woodpeckers on this tree.
George said there were three, but it was so sunny out that I couldn't spot them through the view screen on the camera, so I just snapped a couple of pics when he said to. I only count two.
Slept in, went to the Farmer's Market and bought some leeks and peppers. I am gonna make some potato leek soup tomorrow or Monday. After, I met my friend George for our near daily walk in the cemetery. Then it was time to go home to write my paper for Comp 2 - that was a chore - I just kept procrastinating; first all week, then all day. I finished and submitted it just before 9p. Now to study for my science exam tomorrow.

Renee from the RCC called to say she was flying in tomorrow too. I had totally forgotten. I am gonna try to get some studying done in the morning so I can take her sight-seeing right from the airport. It's supposed to be sunny and bright, and maybe even warm, and she wants to go up the shore - should be fun to take a road trip.

Then I have to sit that 2 hr exam at 8:30-9p at the latest. *sigh*

Off to read some more science stuff.
Gnite!

¡Abrazos!
