I was finishing a post for one of my online courses, and attempted to log in here then got distracted by more work I really needed to address. Later, I tried again, and an IM distracted me.
Now, I finished posting for one of my online courses and looked at the clock to notice it was 12:03a. Grr....minutes past the 11:59 deadline I set for myself. Perhaps I should set a reminder in my mobile to save a blank post if nothing else. I have remembered to at least do that some days, then go back and write later, even the next day, or later what I had intended to post for that given day - usually leaving some clue in the saved about what I want to write about so as not to forget. Also, if I have photos to post I add a reminder for that as well. Go me! Too bad I don't always remember to faithfully adhere to that practice.
Ah well. Such is life.
So now if something extraordinary happens on Thursday (Today) it will still appear with the things I wanted to post for yesterday (but still today to me since I've not yet gone to bed - ha!), Wednesday.
This probably bothers me more than it would ever bother even one of you, unless you are someone who hangs on my every typed word.
AS IF.
Today was the Autumnal Equinox or as some call it, the first day of Autumn, or Fall.
Most people were happy for this seasonal change, whereas, I was still mourning Summer's passing so very quickly.
I refuse to believe it's over.
I want more!
I may have to go down under in December or January to celebrate an extra summer, as the year I went (07) it was during my summer, and their winter, so technically that year I had two winters.
Now I deserve an extra summer!
Also, as a rarity, the Equinox totally (well within 6 hrs) coincides with the Harvest Moon check it out! Last time it came this close was 1991, and the next time will be 2029.
I should take pics, but I have WAY too much homework.
(Plus it's very overcast and rainy, so I'd have to drive far, far away to do so.)
Road trip anyone?
Today's (Wednesday's) Photos from my visit to the Farmer's Market at UMD outside the Kirby Student Center:
Michael Monroe was there singing for our entertainment pleasure.
Very Nice.
