Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Badass, Baseball & Boku

You Don't See This Around Town Very Often
Parked outside the Norshor (Theatre) Experience tonight.
Several more were in various spots on the block as well.
A sure sign of spring.

~ Another Sign of Spring ~

Baseball, OUT DOOR Baseball!
My son was at the Twins VS St Louis game today and sent these pics of the stadium via mobile
The stadium looks pretty great - he really loved it from his comments sent via text.
My only regret is that giant prominent beer logo is not that of a Minnesota Brewery,
and consequently of a much better tasting beer than the one named.
Shame on Target Field for not keeping it local.

On another note:

Boku's Back!
While doing an online search for the info about the event for the motorcycle photo above, I ran into a venue listing which included the Twin's Bar, and named Boku Frequency as tonight's band.
Not wanting to pass up their appearing so close to home;
I put on my dancin shoes, grabbed the camera,
and dropped in to say hi.
If you've never heard this band, give them a listen,
they'll funk you up!
They've got a lot of new stuff, as well as some great old faves,
and their sound was so tight.
Give it up for the boys!
(some of these pics admittedly kinda suck due to that red light/poor lighting -
but in a way, they lend to Red Eye's Hendrix-like performance and persona.)
Yeah, not the best focus, but Tony playing in Terry's silhouette is kinda cool ;-)
Sometime Boku drummer Harvey Hanson
Jammin out all electrified
Thomas's & Red Eye Dread were on Fire! lol
