Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. In Honour of a True Blue Legend & A Friend

How much does a man live, after all?
Does he live a thousand days, or one only?
For a week, or for several centuries?
How long does a man spend dying?
What does it mean to say "for ever?"

~ * ~

As if one loss wasn't enough,
today at work there was another.

Our lovely Linda lost her Ken today.
It was devastating to learn of his passing.
They recently celebrated their 28th Anniversary
A true made-for-each-other couple.
Ken gave the best hugs.
Last August on my birthday at Blues Fest
I was the lucky recepient.
A great man, great hugger, with a great smile.
He will be sorely missed.

Two most lovely women lost most wonderful men.
Truly a sad day.
The world has lost two of the best.
Hugs to Tricia and Linda

Toasts Jeff & Ken!
Cheers!
