Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Sunny Quiet Sunday

Up early to make the boy one last hearty breakfast and send him back to school.
Sad to see him go, as it was fun having him home for the week, and
for the days he stayed here and we connected anyway.
Shared a few meals, conversations, and many hugs.

Spent the rest of the day muckin about on the sunny deck, online, doing homework, and laundry.
Still have some dishes to finish, but they can wait.
It was more important to make the bed up.
I put on my new mattress pad, as well as flipped the mattress and washed all my bedding.
I am gonna sleep well tonight!

Made a veggie pizza for dinner.
Looks yum hey.
It tasted even better!
Was an odd day, as usually on Sundays I head downtown to work and for a bus ride visit with my friend. He's on vacation, and has been dealing with some personal issues, which are keeping him out of touch. A few other online friends I usually catch up with on Sundays have been out of touch as well. I sure hope they are ok, and expect that they are, just busy, but I miss them all none-the-less.

I did, however, receive a text from my girlfriend in Mackay, Australia where Cyclone Ului hit the other day. She, her family, and their homes are all ok, but the town is thrashed. No power, no phones and tons of clean up to do. It was lucky she said that texting was working, I was greatful too to know that she was ok, and passed the texts on to our other friends so they would know her status as well. I wish I could drop everthing and go down to help her clean up. Evidently, some of the worst winds were up in the Whitsunday Islands and Airlie Beach, where I had visited with her in June 2007.

Big Hugs to all my missing mates, and to my sis and her family, my son, and who ever else needs one! Sends one out to the daughter too, just because.

¡Abrazos!
