Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. I Never Tire of This View

After a year at work sitting in a large back room with no windows (called The Cave), everyday when I come to work now I am treated to the Sun, the glorious Sun. Today I arrived even earlier as my manager was away so I am expected as supervisor to make the morning management meeting. Immediately I open the blinds to drink in the view and some days are quite spectacular. The bonus on these days of extra early rising and arriving being an early crack at the Sun before the meeting starts with my trusty camera. The sky was so beautiful I only wished I had had more time to take a panoramic shot before the meeting was to start. If I had more time and inclination, I'd clone out the office lights reflected in the window. Looking farther North, or to the left in this shot, the sky and clouds were just unbelievable - but the glare was so bad turning the camera in that direction. One of those 'for your eyes only' views. *sigh*
Pretend they're panoramic. Perhaps I'll stitch them sometime as well. yasureright. Zoom in. Can you see the moon? If not, look below:

The moon was as colourfully bathed in the sunrise, but hard to see in the previous photo, so I zoomed and and hoped for the best - Yay! No office lights, and a pretty cool shot. I got lucky.

Cheers!
