Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Another Gorgeous Sunday Ends

Too nice to eat in, I ready a real pizza for an evening on the deck in the late afternoon sun.
A view of my corner planter with it's little pots of peppers along with various herbs and plants.
Turning around I notice the little rabbit has come to munch again.

The high grey clouds covering the sky take leave and these thin ones appear moving westward.
Note the line cloud to the left. (655pm)

Now here it is on the right as some very light pinks appear.

The pinks grow a glowy bright in those thin lines
More pinks appear as the sun sets and they drift west.
After I had finished typing the previous blog entry, looking up I was astounded by the colours that had appeared as I wasn't paying atention. Again my mobile's cam does not do them justice.
So as not to miss as much scope of their beauty I ran upstairs to my daughter's old room and leaning out the window took these last two shots trying to capture as much of the sky as possible. By this time the pinks gave way to bright oranges, the brightest bit being behind the pines.

Last shot was at 721pm - I had only wished I were able to just hop into the car and drive somewhere I could see the sky in wide view versus above my little backyard spot. *sigh* Minutes later as I reached my chair on the deck, the show was over and darkness settled in.

Time to go inside. G'nite.
