Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. I can do without Rabbits and Chipmunks

I had this flowering plum planted by the fireplace a couple of years ago and the rabbit(s) stripped it. I rescued it, potting it and kept it on the back deck, then partially buried and piled on leaves to over winter, then it regrew. I replanted it last year, no issues. This year it was growing nicely and just two days ago, was leafy and so cute. I contemplated moving it some as that particular corner is very dry, and gave it a big drink. Yesterday, it was stripped. I pulled it out and potted it again to save it. "Shhhh. Be vewy, vewy, qwiet. I'm hunting wabbits."
Then this lil varmint (pictured here hiding in my lilac bush) seemed to not be affected by the BB I shot into his arse as he tried to get back to the garage to hide out. I saw him again come out the crack in the foundation, but then he hid amongst the raspberry canes. His days are numbered.

Did this as well as chew up heaps of paper and insulation all over inside my garage.
But, the little bastard didn't get this one! I picked it! Take that! Then I generously covered all the other plants and their fruits in Cayenne pepper. Tomorrow I will buy some traps.
