Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. Fiftieth

Wow.
50.
Imagine that.
A milestone.
As was today for many reasons.
Things happening at work
A changed friendship.
This blog post.

What a difference a day makes.

I've spent the evening since work reflecting and writing
instead of working outside in the yard until dark.
It grew more grey and I felt torn between going outside
or attending to the matters at hand.

I have nothing more to share besides these recent iris blooms.
Enjoy.
This variety I got from a woman last year on my local freecycle group.

This variety was given to me by a long time ago (1993) volleyball teammate
and when they bloom, I think of her, her husband and their family.

Cheers!
