Amante de Sol

"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio."........................................................... ~Hunter S. So today my eldest finished Cosmetology School.
(this after completing an AA degree May '07.)
Yesterday my youngest finished his first year of college.
I am pretty damn proud of both of them today.
So much so I took them to dinner to celebrate
(after we all got done working)
over to the Anchor Bar for the best burgers ever!
We're all wearing Al Bundy pants now. Ha!

Earlier today whilst I was on my lunch break, I took a walk downtown and discovered this Dogma-like sight What the ?????
Good thing I looked before I stepped.

Ok, enough of that.

Here's something pleasant I did see on my walk:Down the end of one block was a garden. This was the ONLY new and blooming thing in a sea of grey grass and decomposing leaves and other plant materials in that whole area. Well besides that weed there in the background.

I love tulips. To me they mean Spring.
